Friendly, fast, customer-focused Front Associate responsible for greeting customers, taking orders (in-person and by phone), handling payments, and supporting front-of-house operations to ensure a great guest experience. Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and maintain a welcoming counter/ dining area. Take accurate orders for dine-in, takeout, and phone orders; upsell menu items and promotions. Operate POS system to process cash and card payments; issue receipts and manage change. Prepare and pack takeout/delivery orders neatly and accurately. Coordinate with kitchen staff on order status and special requests (allergies, substitutions). Manage carryout and delivery handoffs; assist delivery drivers as needed. Maintain cleanliness of front counter, entryway, pickup area, and dining tables. Restock front-of-house supplies (napkins, condiments, menus). Handle basic customer service issues and escalate complaints to manager when necessary. Follow food safety, health, and cash-handling procedures. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 0–2 years customer service or foodservice experience preferred. Basic math skills and experience with POS systems or willingness to learn. Clear communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Preferred Skills Friendly, positive attitude and strong customer-service orientation. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Knowledge of food safety/serving standards (ServSafe or similar a plus). Scheduling & Compensation Shift availability required: Tuesday 5pm-12am, Thursday 5pm-12pm, Saturday 5pm-12am, Sunday 5pm-11pm. Typical shifts: 4–8 hours; part-time or full-time options.
