Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 15, 2024

1. Introduction

Welcome to Glenlist. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you about how we look after your personal data when you visit our website and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information from and about users of our website, including:

  • Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number)
  • Contact information when you create an account
  • Information about your listings and interactions on our platform
  • Technical data including IP address, browser type, and device information
  • Usage data about how you interact with our website

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain our service
  • Notify you about changes to our service
  • Allow you to participate in interactive features
  • Provide customer support
  • Monitor the usage of our service
  • Detect, prevent and address technical issues

4. Data Security

We have implemented appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, accessed, altered, or disclosed in an unauthorized way. We limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a business need to know.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar browser storage to operate the site and to understand how it is used. The categories we use are:

  • Essential cookies — required for the site to work. These keep you signed in after you log in and carry state through flows such as email verification and password reset. They cannot be turned off without breaking those features.
  • First-party identifiers — set by Glenlist itself, not by the third-party providers listed below. These include a device and session identifier we use to tie your activity on the site together and, for visitors who arrive from an ad, the click identifier and campaign values, stored for up to 90 days so we can attribute the visit. If you reject or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, none of these are written, and rejecting also deletes any that were already stored. None of it is shared with the providers below until you consent.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies and identifiers — used to measure how visitors reach and move through the site, and to measure the performance of our advertising. No third-party analytics or advertising provider loads, and none of the vendor cookies listed below is set, until you give consent.

We work with the following providers. None of them receives data about your visit until you consent:

  • Google (Analytics 4 and Google Ads) — measures overall site usage and, for visitors who arrive through a Google ad, measures whether that ad led to a conversion.
  • Amplitude — product analytics, including a sampled share of session replays, to help us understand how the site is used.
  • Hotjar — usability analysis and session recording.
  • Meta Pixel — advertising measurement. Using Glenlist with this active means we share information about your visit with Meta for cross-context behavioral advertising — under the California Consumer Privacy Act this is considered "sharing," and you have the right to opt out of it below.

Your choices. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, analytics and advertising tracking is off automatically and no action is needed from you. Otherwise, on your first visit we ask you to accept or reject these cookies, and you can change your mind at any time using the Privacy choices control below. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.

6. Your Rights

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction of your personal data
  • Request erasure of your personal data
  • Object to processing of your personal data
  • Request restriction of processing your personal data
  • Request transfer of your personal data
  • Right to withdraw consent
