Description
Looking for a Senior Accountant who will: Perform general accounting and administrative functions to meet contractual requirements for large projects. Complete account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet accounts. Maintain financial schedules and general ledgers in accordance with company policies and procedures. Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes for both domestic and international divisions. Create annual budgets and monitor monthly budget performance, including variance analysis and reporting. Assist in the development, documentation, and improvement of accounting processes and controls. Support the preparation and completion of financial statement audits. Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as needed. Manage bank deposits, weekly bank reconciliations, and cash receipt entries in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Assist with quarterly flash reports, tax provision requests, foreign entity tax provision data, and customer order reports submitted to Corporate. Prepare special audit schedules for auditors as requested. Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirements: 10 years accounting/finance experience Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, QuickBooks, etc.) Public accounting experience Understands and complies with all labor agreements, government legislation, and PCL policies and procedures. Assist with quarterly flash reports, tax provision requests, Foreign Entity Tax Provision information and entered orders by Customer by Month reports to be submitted to Corporate. Provide special audit schedules to auditors as requested. Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles Strong organizational skills; attention to detail Advanced Excel skills Languages-Armenian, Russian, English
