We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents through attentive, respectful, and personalized care. This role involves working closely with individuals who may have developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's, or other health challenges. Prior experience in senior care, home health, hospice, or working with people with disabilities is highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while developing valuable skills in patient care and support. Responsibilities: Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies Operate patient monitoring equipment and ensure safety during transfers using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks Follow individualized care plans developed by healthcare professionals or social workers Document observations related to patient condition and report any concerns promptly Adhere to all safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures Experience Candidates should possess relevant experience such as: Home & community care experience or long-term care experience in nursing homes or assisted living facilities Working with people with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders Experience in hospice or palliative care settings Knowledge of medication administration and patient monitoring techniques Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and documentation standards for patient privacy and confidentiality Prior roles involving resident support using equipment like Hoyer lifts or managing heavy lifting tasks Experience providing Alzheimer’s or dementia-specific memory care services Background in social work or nursing that supports comprehensive resident-centered caregiving.
